After nearly three years of meticulous grinding and polishing, the DCT 4.3-meter primary mirror (M1) is now complete. In this photo, engineers from Lowell Observatory and University of Arizona's College of Optical Sciences conduct final acceptance activities for the M1. The mirror is scheduled to ship from Tucson to the DCT site at Happy Jack this April.
